WWE's most recent journey north of the border to Calgary, Alberta, Canada for Monday Night RAW on 5/30/05 began in a red-hot manner…and we're not only referring to the pyrotechnics! The RAW Divas were out in full-force to participate in a special "Swimsuit Competition" hosted by Jerry "The King" Lawler. Things got underway as Victoria, Christy Hemme, Maria Kanellis, Candice Michelle and Lilian Garcia each made their way to the ring with a tropical-themed towel covering what would in each case turn out to be a breathtaking bikini! While an argument could be made for each woman deserving the win, "The King" determined Christy's live response to be the most impressive and awarded her the victory! Thankfully, most of the losing competitors were cordial in defeat, but Victoria was absolutely livid at the decision and laid out each individual in the ring… including Lawler! Despite the violent post-contest antics, RAW’s lovely backstage interviewer Maria took another step towards elevating herself to the top tier of Diva beauty with her stunning swimsuit display that had many male fans talking the next day! In the weeks following the situation, WWE caught up with Maria and had her personally autograph the towel she wore for the festivities!
